when I knew I needed to make a big life change, which ultimately led me to mental health counseling: at a job surrounded by people who were passionate and enthusiastic about their work, which highlighted the giant void I was feeling. I knew I had to find what lights me up and go and do it!
Hi, I'm Lindsey,
a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in North Carolina. In addition to my licensure as a LCMHCA, I have formally studied and earned certifications in both Yoga and Ayurveda. The philosophies and skills I experienced in these programs help ground me and give me tools and perspective to show up as my best (in the moment) self in the therapy space. Since 2022, I have studied and learned neurofeedback under the guidance of Dr. Phil Ellis at Focus Centers of Asheville.

I wasn’t someone who always knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. My path has been full of zigs and zags and unexpected turns. Looking back, I see that each step taught me how to hold space for others as they navigate the in-between seasons of their own lives, the ones that don’t always make sense until later. I feel so fortunate to be creating a life I truly love, and my work with clients is such a big part of that! And I love helping others find what lights them up.
In our work, you can expect:
A therapeutic relationship rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect for your lived experience;
grounded, attuned insight and reflections;

practical strategies for managing energy, focus, and attention;

nervous system education to reduce overwhelm and increase regulation;

evidence-based theory and tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness.
